Last thursday Glenn organised for us to attended a coffee training session run by our coffee supplier, Gravity Espresso in Richmond.
Thanks to Gravity’s Manager Dan and our fantastic Barista Trainer Jemima, we were all instantly made to feel at home. The quality of the training was outstanding and Jem was able to demonstrate and answer all our questions. The thing that amazed us the most was the amount of different variables such as light, temperature, age of the beans, machine, dosing, tamping pressure, way you pour, pre infusion etc. that can effect the extraction and taste of your coffee. It was a lot to take in but we loved every minute of it.
